Glass ceilings are meant to be shattered!  If they weren't, they'd be made of adamantium or something.  For me, being a Nerd isn't a lifestyle, it's who I am. I started this company to create jobs for creative people, and fun tools and games that everyone could enjoy (I know, I know... the whole "never build a product for yourself thing"... eh, that rule was meant to be broken, if the things you're building are helpful and fun). 

I was born to be an entrepreneur with a champion’s spirit and a research scientist’s heart! From humble beginnings, I was born to teen parents in New York City and grew up performing 5 types of dance and winning tournaments in Eskrima. In H.S. I worked odd jobs, was published several times, and played in a chime choir. I was also voted ‘Most Eccentric’. My exceptional path was clearly going to be ‘one less traveled’, by pioneering my own way.

In college, I interned while working 3 jobs in tandem. As an undergraduate, I focused on epidemiology and in graduate school focused on organizational behavior. I earned my B.A. & M.A. in Applied Research and Data Analytics (Magna cum laude) from Queens College.

I like to apply my ‘NYC tough’ attitude (and accent) to all of my ventures. I've worked in everything from market research, to aerospace, to now as the owner of 'For Us Nerds', building cross-platform games, software, and providing exceptional services and workshops to our outstanding clients. 

On a personal note, I love astrophotography, photomicrography, art, botanical medicine, and mingling with fellow nerds who enjoy good games. I recently presented some of my research on how techniques applied in game creation can assist with certain medical issues, especially for children with illnesses and disabilities, veterans, and the elderly. Here at For Us Nerds, we believe that FUN and games are an important part of life!
